Civil and Utilities

Iron Woman builds and maintains critical infrastructure for the life and well-being of our community. Our heavy civil and utility services focus on water infrastructure construction and maintenance and site development in residential, municipal, water, and industrial markets.

Our diversified project portfolio includes mass excavation and fills, mass concrete installations, stormwater infrastructure, water distribution centers, dewatering systems, and sanitary water systems.

As one of the leading utility contractors in the Denver Metropolitan area, Iron Woman has constructed more than 2,000,000 linear feet of water, sewer and storm pipe for most municipalities in the region, as well as for multiple private developers and home builders. We have been involved in some of the largest utilities infrastructure projects in the Front Range area, including Denver Union Station, Pena Station, the 27th Street Sewer Interceptor, RTD’s West Corridor, the Eagle P3 project, the DIA South Terminal Redevelopment, and the redevelopment of the Stapleton area. The $50,000,000 Sterling Ranch Subdivision project included three contracts spanning five years. Iron Woman installed sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, sleeving, and irrigation lines, and road paving for the current Filing 3A project completed in early 2022. This included a total of 22,623 LF of C900 waterline ranging from 8-inch to 20-feet and from 24-inch to 20-feet. The project also included a total of 240 LF of concrete box culvert; 7,790 LF of storm RCP ranging from 18-inch to 66-inch; 63,195 LF of SDR35 sewage pipe in various sizes; 40 60-inch and 72-inch storm manholes; 125 48-inch and 60-inch sewer manholes; two 60-inch water air vac vaults; 323 water services; and one irrigation service.
