The Jackson Street Storm Project was performed as part of Iron Woman’s Large General Contractor On-Call contract with the City and County of Denver. The scope of the Jackson Street Storm project is substantial. Iron Woman installed 1,000 linear feet of 110” storm pipe and an additional 288 linear feet of 84” storm sewer pipe, boring underneath Colorado Blvd. at Jackson Street. Work also included new sidewalks, ADA ramps, and roadway improvements. The project aims to mitigate flooding and improve drainage in the heavily trafficked Mar Lee Neighborhood of Denver. It was one of our most challenging projects with the City and was completed well above schedule. Successful delivery of this project, along with our work at 27th Street and City Park, has earned Iron Woman a reputation as the best heavy civil contractor working with the city.
