Iron Woman: An Employee-Owned Company!

When you join the Iron Woman Team, you will quickly realize that the people of Iron Woman are caring, loyal, and hard-working. We have fun at Iron Woman, but never at the cost of safety, quality, and production. Founder Shaun Egan and the entire management team strive to create an atmosphere conducive to long-term employment and engagement. We have strived over the years to secure less seasonal work, which gives our employees year-round income.

Our people are at the heart of our success. Without dedicated, hard-working employees we would not experience success in all our business lines. Our robust benefits package reflects the value we place on our employees.

But our success is much more than a list of services provided. At Iron Woman, we value a balance between home, work, and our community, both with our employees as well as our customers. The two areas are not mutually exclusive. Our pledge is still the same today as when this company was founded, “Iron Woman…building today for a sustainable tomorrow.”

Benefits Highlights

Comprehensive and preventive healthcare coverage is important in protecting you and your family. Iron Woman offers employees the choice of two medical plans, a high deductible health plan (HDHP) HSA qualified plan, or a PPO plan.

With both the HDHP & PPO plan, in-network preventive care is covered at 100%. The US Preventive Services Task Force maintains a list of preventive services that all Health Care Reform compliant plans should cover at 100% for in-network providers.

The most important aspect of a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) is the opportunity to contribute to an HSA. The HSA provides pre-tax dollars to pay for your out-of-pocket eligible expenses: your deductible, coinsurance, prescription drugs, etc. Iron Woman will match contributions of up to $1,000 per year.

Teladoc provides 24/7 access to a doctor, 365/year by phone or online. Members can consult with a U.S. Board Certified physician and even get a prescription written.

DispatchHealth provides on-demand healthcare in the convenience of your home and helps you to avoid unnecessary trips to the ER. The DispatchHealth team provides care from 8am to 10pm, 365 days a year, including holidays.

Iron Woman offers the choice of two dental plans through Guardian. The Managed Dental Plan provides savings on commonly performed dental procedures in network. The PPO plan allows you and your family to visit any licensed dentist, with the greatest out-of-pocket savings through an in-network provider.

We offer you and your family a vision plan through United Healthcare, using the VSP Choice Network. The level of benefits you receive depends on whether you use a provider within the VSP Choice Network. When you use a Guardian VSP provider, you’ll receive a higher level of benefit than if you use an out-of-network provider.

Iron Woman provides employees with Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment plan at no cost.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance provides specified benefits for a covered accidental bodily injury that directly causes dismemberment (i.e. the loss of a hand, foot or eye). In the event of death from an accident, both the Life and the AD&D benefit would be payable. The Life Insurance benefit is payable to the designated beneficiary upon the death of the insured. Employees may also purchase additional Supplemental Life (voluntary).

United Healthcare services disability insurance that can provide employees with the peace of mind that a protected paycheck brings, if you are unable to work because of an illness or injury that occurs on the job. Iron Woman provides employees with Short-Term disability insurance at no cost. Long-Term insurance options are available for an additional cost.

The EAP offers employees and their families confidential, personal and web-based support on a variety of topics including stress management, dependent care, nutrition & fitness, legal and financial issues.
