Iron Woman was contracted to decommission two polishing ponds at the power plant. The project included hauling an estimated 70,000 tons of waste material and exporting to a regional landfill. Iron Woman also installed five new ponds that required 100,000 CY of import material to be sourced and trucked onsite. Each of the five ponds required four layers of liner materials, a geotextile fabric, geo net, and two different layers of HDPE geomembrane liners, totaling 300,000 SY of material installed.
