Iron Woman is launching Women of Iron Woman (WoIW), an internal initiative focused on enhancing the work environment for women.  Employee owners Nicole Bullock, Senior Assistant Project Manager, and Melissa Chisolm, Estimator, saw an opportunity to engage women in formal training, career mapping, and support. They jumped into action creating WoIW.  The group’s vision is to “Create a safe, supportive, and collaborative work environment for women and all of Iron Woman employees.” Initiatives will include career path planning, educational opportunities, and diversity training.

 WoIW recognizes that diversity and inclusion are crucial to growth of the industry. While the group is focused on supporting women, training and resources are available to every employee. All employees are encouraged to participate in WoIW activities to create an atmosphere that cultivates mentorship, trust, and respect. The group will hold an official launch event in late January.
