Iron Woman provided environmental remediation for the on-going redevelopment of the 35-acre Denver Water Operations Complex Redevelopment project. The first phase of construction involved the water utility’s operational areas and required remediation of contaminated soil and non-hazardous waste to support building construction and site redevelopment. Iron Woman was able to meet an aggressive remediation schedule, while working with multiple trades across the site. At the same time, we were able to work with the owner and the client to identify remedial and construction alternatives to identify the best value for all stakeholders. We met these project constraints through strong coordination with Mortenson to map out an appropriate sequencing plan for the work.

Providing construction services that are performed in an environmentally compliant and sustainable manner is at the heart of Iron Woman’s mission. Throughout our history we’ve focused on maintaining a highly trained workforce to keep projects moving forward. We believe our work at the Denver Water Operations Campus plays an important part in supporting responsible growth in the region.
