Iron Woman Mining Services was hired by Newmont Goldcorp to construct a 4,000 square foot building at their Cripple Creek and Victor Mine Refinery location. The building will be the new home of Newmont’s geology staff and will be used for core logging and analysis. Construction included excavation, foundation and slab concrete, erection of a prefabricated steel building, insulation and utilities. The project is located at 10,600 feet and all phases of work were successfully executed during winter months.
