Safety First

Our Safety Policy

It is the policy of Iron Woman Construction and Environmental Services to provide all employees with a workplace free from recognized hazards and to implement a Safety and Health program that embraces employee involvement, hazard assessment, analysis, training, and documentation.

It is recognized by Iron Woman Construction and Environmental Services that a successful Safety and Health program must be adhered throughout the organization and supported by employee accountability, responsibility and a sense of ownership.  This culture is supported by management’s commitment to safety and employee involvement.

Accidents and injuries can be prevented. Safety is the responsibility of everyone and Iron Woman Construction and Environmental Services’ management is strongly committed to providing a safe working environment.  No task must ever become so routine or so urgent that every safety precaution is not observed.  The prevention of accidents and injuries, and damage to property must always remain uppermost in the mind of every employee.

President’s Safety Message

Our organization strives to be the best in our business and we continue to enjoy success due to the hard work and dedication of our employees. The people at Iron Woman continue to be our most valuable and precious resource.

We are committed to protecting our employees, the employees of customers and vendors, and the general public by:

  • Providing a safe working environment
  • Establishing and executing safe work practices
  • Maintaining an unwavering commitment to safety

No task, operation, or project can be deemed successful, unless it is completed safely.

Our Health and Safety Plan and Programs are intended to establish and maintain a safe working environment through training, communication, and execution. Our Safety Department will continuously support the education, training, and assessment of activities that are required to help us identify and eliminate health and safety risks. It is the responsibility of each employee, from top management to each tradesperson, to utilize the training and resources provided to ensure the safe execution of our daily operations.

At Iron Woman, we believe that safety requires open communication, accountability, ownership, and a personal commitment by every member of the organization. Nothing is more important than maintaining an injury and incident free workplace.
